I currently live in Ireland but was raised in Slough. My family use to run the Jolly Londoner on the Britwell. Popped over to UK in August 2012. One person I visited whilst I was over was Ryans nan - Chris. Have known her since I was about 10 years of age. Chris and Mick worked for my dad in the Jolly Londoner. First time I ever met Ryan. Such a lovely kid. I knew of his battle with that horrible thing but he seemed so full of life. Rose above it. Was a pleasure to meet him, Caitlin and Jake. Great to see Chris and Dave too. As I was leaving I thought I would embarrass Ryan by asking him for a cuddle. Not a other on him. He stood up and gave me a big hug. Bought tears to my eyes. Little did I know that would be the last time I would see Ryan and Chris. God bless them both. Two lovely people taken too young. xxx
